Information We Collect Directly from You
We collect personal information in a number of different ways. These include email enquiry forms, which can be found on our contact us page, through data capture forms found on guide or report download pages, newsletter registration pages and through cookies. You can find out more about what cookies are and why we use them further down this document.

Log Data: When you use the website our servers may automatically collect and store information, including information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. This log data may include, but is not limited to, your Internet Protocol (IP) address, the address of the web page you visited before using the Services, the operating system you are using, the date and time of your accessing the website, geolocation information, type of device, cookie data, and browser signatures.

IP Addresses: We will log the IP address of any individual who registers via a webpage (contact us page, through data capture forms found on guide or report download pages, newsletter registration pages) and through cookies. This is to be able to fulfil subject access requests, calculate traffic usage, conversion rates per variant, investigate spam allegations, discrepancies in page statistics, as well as to ensure the security of the webpage, Services, and related data. CMGPLtd never uses the IP address or other Personal Information of visitors who register to our services to conduct marketing activities or promote services unless you have consented for us to do so.

Cookies and Log Files: Cookies are small amounts of data that are transferred to your web browser by a web server and are used to collect and store information about a user. The ways we use cookies include, but are not limited to: tracking which webpage variant a visitor has seen, monitoring traffic patterns, to provide and administer relevant advertising, gauging the popularity of service options. Cookies also allow us to ensure that visitors see the webpage variant they expect to see if they return to the same website URL, and to calculate total visits and views per webpage.

When visiting a website you may receive cookies from a visited site (first part), and sites run by other organizations (third parties). Notable examples are the presence of “embedded” video or “social plugins” from social networking services. These are parts of the page visited generated directly from these sites and integrated into the site’s host page. The most common use is aimed at content sharing on social networks.

The presence of these plugins entails the transmission of cookies to and from all sites managed by third parties. The management of information collected by third parties is governed by them so please refer to their privacy policies. To ensure greater transparency and convenience, we have outlined a few resources below that provide information and procedures for managing your cookies.

This also includes certain components from Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis provided by Google. Even in this case third party cookies are collected and handled anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of the host site (cookie performance).

Google Analytics can gather and analyse anonymous information about usage patterns. This information is collected by Google Analytics and processes them in order to draw up performance reports on the websites themselves. This site does not use (and does not allow third parties to use) the Google analytics tool to track or to collect personal identification information. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google nor tries to connect an IP address with the identity of a user. Google may also communicate this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.
