If you have not yet downloaded Google Earth and traveled the globe, you’re missing out. This video by Google will demonstrate their new “3D Building” layer by taking you on a tour through the hotels and casinos of Las Vegas, Nevada, in three dimensions. It’s as if you are flying through it yourself. It’s a truly insane program.

With its wonderful stretch of Adriatic coast, many consider Croatia as one of the most beautiful parts of Europe. The war in the early 1990’s interrupted its booming tourist industry, but it has since come back strongly. Locally called Hrvatska, the country has a great number of national parks, mountains, lowlands beaches and over 1,000 incredible islands.

A beautiful video that begins with a helicopter taking the mountaineers to the base of the Swiss Alps near the Matterhorn, follows some of their climb, and shows lots of gorgeous scenery. It’s a lot more scenery than mountaineering, but that’s okay—the view is incredible and it’s worth the watch.

Join in a Nouba Wedding. The Nouba group populates different parts of Southern Egypt and Northern Sudan, they live mostly on the Nile river banks and they rely on farming and fishing for the most part of their living. Awesome, incredible, beautiful, exhilarating, relaxing, brilliant, memorizing. Those are just some of the words that quickly come to mind as I watch this time-lapse video of Vancouver which was taken from the flimmaker’s condo in Yaletown, Vancouver, Canada. He used a simple Canon miniDV cam and using BTV Pro software on his Apple computer.

There’s not much I can say about this video slide show except that it gives you an absolutely gorgeous tour of Norway. Not many photos of any cities or towns, and lots of natural beauty of the country and coastline. Mark and Shayla get a new boat and away they go off Maui, Hawaii to sound conch shell for whalesong. Serious whales. They warn to not try this video on your own. Whales are very large, intelligent creatures who come to Maui in the winter to spawn. They do not eat while in Maui but go back to Alaska in the summer to eat. You’ll see beautiful scenery, huge whales and “undiscovered” beaches. Spend the ten minutes and relax with this peaceful video.
