Bangkok, Thailand and Surrounding Areas

Eugene Andy Cheng (YouTube.com member spiewak24) and Mackenzie Broadribb take you on a fabluous ten minute tour of Bangkok, Thailand and surrounding areas as only real travelers on foot can show you.  The filming is of people and places in Bangkok can surrounding areas from September 18th 2006 to September 26th 2006 during the coup.  Sit back and enjoy the slide show while listening to soothing music.

The slide show, produced and compiled by Cheng, with photos by both Cheng and Broadribb, take you to temples, cemetaries, rivers, waterfalls, jungles, the zoo, the streets of the city, poor parts of town, a fancy hotel, unsafe bridges and even the ancient city where America’s Top Model was filmed.  You’ll watch them ride bamboo boats, elephants, buses and strange looking taxis. 

But, most of all, you can tell the two of them were most interested in the people they met, which they seem to adore.

Nice information!! Thailand will always be my first choice to spend my vacations. There are many great places, beaches around the country. People are nice and also hotels in Thailand are quite cheap too.

The Thailand should be a great resort in Asia. I have visited there for twice, and its folk-custom expressed me very much. I like there, however I suggest u don’t have a travel there for its queasy political situation.

We spent the day on a private speedboat bopping from island to island in the area around Phuket Thailand. OMG what a day this was. We visited the bay where the James Bond classis “The Man with the Golden Gun” was filmed as well as snorkeling and chilling on a deserted island.
The landscape was surreal and we were so glad we had sunny skies the entire trip as this was the rainy season for Thailand. The tourism was down......bad for Phuket...good for us. It was such a relaxing trip to not be fighting for beach space etc.A trip my daughter and I will never forget!!

All my mates have dropped out of going, so ive come to find some peeps to go with. Ooooooh! Probably going to be spending alot of time in thailand and wouldnt mind going to some surrounding countries. formore....
