Kalalau Challenge in Na Pali, Kauai, Hawaii
The Kalalau Challenge is one of the world’s most extreme sporting events set in one of the most amazing places in the world--the breathtaking Na Pali coast on Kauai, Hawaii. Brave athletes swim 6.5 miles in the open ocean along 3000 ft. high cliffs to the sacred Valley of Kalalau. The contestants then run the treacherous 11.3 mile trail back to Ke’e beach. Na Pali is host ot many famous films such the famous Jurassic Park.

If you go to Hawaii, and visit my favorite island of Kauai, make sure you take a trip to the Na Pali Coast. You can hire a boat to take you along the coast, you can hike the trail or you can take a helicopter ride.
