You’ve undoubtedly seen videos and photos of the famous Stonhenge Monument of England. But have you ever witnessed the Solstice celebrations? Thousands of people gather there for the Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice to celebrate (party) the occasions. “Interesting” people, diverse musical instruments and dancing abound. Some are serious about the spirituality and mystery of this scared place, while some are her to just have a good time. I read that it’s about “95% Pagan and 95% partygoers.” This video covers celebrations form 2002 - 2005. Links to some great pics in the article.

A departure from our normal single destination video, today’s feature takes you around the world in a very interesting way—by showing you shots from 88 webcams, all shot around noon time (in their time zone) of the same day near the autumnal equinox with good weather! What’s really cool about the video, though, is that the filmmaker made an effort to avoid the most well-known cities. Includes great music by Andrew Powell and The Philharmonic Orchestra. Don’t skip this one!
